Local Area Information
We consider that Pembrokeshire is a very special place to visit. The diversity of places to see and explore is breath taking from Victorian seaside towns to atmospheric and intimate coves. Pembrokeshire is a magnet for walkers, nature lovers, foodies and families. We love it here and think that it's a safe bet you will love it too. There are many places to go and things to do here.
Within Pembrokeshire, and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which boasts some of the most spectacular scenery and wildlife in Britain, towering cliffs plunge into a pristine sea, all contrasting with the beautiful Preseli Mountains in the north of the county. These moorland hills are rich with wildlife and history and are the origin of the Stonehenge Bluestones.
We love Saundersfoot which has beautiful beaches and a harbour, and is only a two mile walk away and can be reached by a level walk along the coastal path.
If you want to visit somewhere bigger then Tenby is a lovely old walled town with award winning beaches and a harbour providing a variety of boat trips, Tenby is appropriately a five mile drive away.
Within the lodge we have a folder full of leaflets from local attractions and one full of local walks to enable you to plan your days out whilst your are staying at the lodge.
